2braves improve their chances to make a run this year, unload ender's contract and test Bauer's fit in the clubhouse, since they will probably be among the most likely teams to sign him this offseason. Reds get a high floor prospect who is very close to mlb ready at a position of need and can try to salvage the career of a guy who was reliably worth 3 war prior to getting hurt last season

I dig it - Langeliers is definitely trade bait now, and saving the Ender $$ would make it easier to-resign Bauer.
