Why would KC do this since Duffy is much more useful than Inciarte is?

Royals get some cash off the ledger, and a GG level defensive CF, and opens a space for Zimmer to step in. Braves can plug Pache into CF and get a "you know what you're getting" 5th starter. Braves are essentially paying around $7M for a #5 and to get Pache into the lineup.
