4I think Cleveland would consider this, but what is San Diego going to do with Lindor? They've got Machado at 3rd, Tatis at SS - does Lindor spend a year at 2nd, giving them an all world infield defense?
I don't see the Indians having a need for Lucchesi as they are solid in their rotation with depth. He would be a useless piece. The Padres would move Tatis to 2B or CF. You don't trade for Lindor to play 2B.
The series against the dodgers showed that padres need more experienced and clutch bats in the lineup. Even though Cronenworth has been pretty good Lindor would be a definite upgrade and yes he would most likely play 2nd imo
Lindor is a gold glove shortstop. Moving him anywhere else would be a waste of his talent.
