1I'd also like to add Stephen Vogt (1yr/$3m) as part of the return going to Anaheim. By all indications Arizona is looking to reduce payroll but doesn't want a total rebuild. Here they get some payroll relief (approximately $10m total) and a collection of nice affordable players who can contribute for years to come. Thaiss can play 1B or 3B, has a strong bat tool, and controls the zone well. Jackson is a power hitting SS who's drawn Javy Baez comps and set the HR record at his last minor league stop. Suarez is a lefty who's been dominant in the minors but struggled in major league action. The Halos need arms and this is one way to address the need. Kelly is a reliable innings eater on a team friendly contract. He's recovering from thoracic outlet surgery, so this is a bit of a risk, but should be ready by the off-season. Weaver has great stuff but has suffered from going through the order multiple times. HRs have also been an issue but the youth and ability are worth the risk for a desperate team. I believe Vogt had an option that vested but is superfluous on a team with Carson Kelly and Daulto Varsho. The Halos could use a left handed veteran back-up and I'm sure the Diamondbacks would be happy to save the $3m
