With all the slashing and burning of players who are making any kind of money, it's hard to envision anyone paying him $7.2M in this market, let alone giving up something as well. He was below replacement level in 2020, has been very inconsistent offensively, and offers negative value defensively. A team needing a 1B would be better off signing C.J. Cron for less money and more reliable production.
