2Yankees get lindor who has been a target of theirs for years. Wittrigen provides a solid bullpen arm. Gray is an intriguing starting pitchers that will bolster their pitching depth. They also unload hicks's bad contract to provide financial flexibility to sign another arm or a catcher. Indians get an incredible bevy of prospects yo jumpsyart a rebuild. This is an incredible opportunity for the indians. Luplow gives the rockies outfield depth. I wanted to add in a pitching prospect to make this more appealing to them. But the trade simulator didn't allow me to go crazy with too many players.
The incredible part of this proposal is the belief the Indians would want anyone of these guy beside Jasson Dominguez and, only maybe and not worth close to his projected value in Austin Wells. (Wells is the antithesis of what the Indians look for in a catcher.. Wells is a hitter who is also not a very good catching prospect) Hicks <== too expensive.. The Indians are not in the take poor contracts business.. no thanks Garcia <=== overhyped Little Deivi would be the Indians # 11 SP prospect.. unneeded and unwanted Medina <=== is an RP only kind of guy.. but lacks the control that allows a Manager like Tito to trust.. Peraza <=== sixth best SS prospect for the Indians.. So.. the Indians would receive an excellent prospect (Dominguez) that is almost a half decade away from being ML ready and nothing else they can use. This is a very poor deal for the Indians.. HARD PASS..
