Just a quick response as to what happened to Santillan. From what I've read, the Reds' new pitching coach destroyed him. They had him make severe adjustments to his delivery, resulting in control issues and increased health issues for a guy that already struggled staying healthy. If they feel he can adjust to the new pitching philosophy, he'll be an interesting guy to watch as he has the tools to be an effective reliever. However, I see him as a change of scenery candidate, preferably to a club with the Reds' old pitching philosophy or at least one that allows pitchers to pitch however they feel comfortable.
