3Are you high??? LMAOOO
I have no doubt that a trade like this is going to happen. Yankees need to get rid of stantons contract and the giants would love to add him to their World Series contending team, as he would push them over the hump. Hosmer would be a nice minor league bat, and maybe he comes up if the giants are desperate due to injuries. They get 2 throw in prospects in Mackenzie gore and CJ Abrams. Gore may have the upside to be a future number 5 in the rotation or have a back end bullpen role, and Abrams could potentially be a bench bat, but both of those are a bit of a stretch. Lamet is the hidden gem of this trade package, as he’s just a throw in for cap purposes, but he could potentially be a nice bullpen piece. And as for the main piece of this trade, Gleyber is coming in as far and away the best shortstop in the baseball, and he will be a huge piece for the giants. Even though he is getting up there in age, he is still without a doubt the best shortstop in baseball and maybe the best hitter in the game. However, there’s no way he’s starting at shortstop because the giants will want their younger guys such as Brandon Crawford to get reps at short. Now as for what the giants gave away, they gave away an mvp candidate and one of the best players in the game, Mike Yastrzemski. However, it’s worth it considering the return of Torres and Stanton. As for the padres, they received a couple of awful prospects with no upside and below average major league roster fillers. Don’t be surprised if you see a trade like this, it’s incredibly likely.
Lol you heard of satire
