3At least a couple things wrong with this deal.. Aquino has less than a month of games where he actually hit the ball.. otherwise, he's been dreadful.. He's not noted for his defense so, the position isn't much of a help or improvement on what the Cleveland team would need.. Lyon Richardson is not at all like the kind of pitcher the Cleveland team acquires. The deal is severely imbalanced against the team with the best player in the deal.. For these three reason.. HARD PASS...
I say looks like a solid trade. Rosario value is real low. Everyone (Including me) over values there players.
The Reds have too many outfielders which the Indians need. The Indians have too many short stops which the Reds need. I agree that Rosario is the best player in the deal, but he has never developed to his perceived potential ... just like Aquino. That was my logic at least. I figured that the deal would look better if the Reds threw in a decent pitching prospect to go with it. The truth is that none of these players are high value.
