3Another mid-season idea, based on the MLB.com trade candidate article. Baez would represent a big boost over Kemp/Pinder, and the added cash to help pay for the deal from Chicago would give them an interesting return of young players.
I think Baez could be an option, especially with cash included. The one catch is Jefferies, who could be in Oakland's rotation in July. But that's something to figure out 4 months from now.
He was the one I thought might make the cost too much. Baez would be a rental. Jefferies is really good.
