3If I was the Brewers' GM I would jump on this trade like white on rice. I agree with Shaw also going to the Phils.
I've seen many trade proposals that trade Hader to the Phillies for minor league prospects that just don't make sense for the Brewers. I think if the Phillies call about Hader, the Brewers say they want Bohm and the trade discussion begins at that point. I'm not sure if either team would make this trade but I think it's a more realistic proposal. Travis Shaw would also go to the Phillies in this trade but the simulator wouldn't let me put that in. Phillies: Get the lock down closer they've been looking for along with a high prospect and a 3B replacement. Brewers - Get their 3B position filled with a young controllable player that has the potential to become an All Star 3B . Urias could be the future shortstop for the Brewers so Turang would be blocked. It hurts to lose Hader but the increasing salary and the fact that the Brewers have bullpen depth makes this trade possible. They believe Alec Bohm is worth it. Shaw can't be traded until June 15.
