2Ok, maybe this isn't THAT realistic, but this is still a fair trade. Ottavino is not great, but he's still a decent bullpen arm. On Boston's side, I have been a big fan for Grichuk over the years and I think he'd work perfectly in Fenway. Maybe this allows a trade of someone like Renfroe (when available) to get a decent prospect?
Grichuk has played himself into a postion where he can get regular playing time in TO, plus I'd take the pontential dominance of Merryweather over the clearly over the hill Ottavino
