10Reported that the third player in the trade is Jack Suwinski. If anybody wonders why the Pirates are perennially in last place, seemingly forever rebuilding, and usually in last place, look no further than this trade. Marcano was the padres #5 prospect and the other two are not even in their top 30.
few notes SD is getting 1.4 in cash but can't give it because i can only give cash to one team 11M cash is not real had to put it there to get BTV to Accept Third prospect going to PIT for frazier is not listed this is a rare time when values are way off I was also expecting more for frazier Pit got ripped off for frazier let me know your thoughts on the trade
Jack Suwinski is the 3rd guy. According to the BTV system, ,Pirates got hosed. And I'll be honest I expected them to get a lot more for Frazier than that. Marcano is the Padres #5 prospect, and the other 2 guys aren't top 30. And they sent money with it for a guy who doesn't make that much money. Thumbs up for Padres, thumbs down for Pirates.

I honestly thought the Pirates would get more; but not by a lot. Marcano has a good shot to be as good or better than Frazier pretty soon and he is the number 5 prospect in a top 5 system.

Suwinski should have been on this site with his numbers in AA this season...killing the ball in an extreme pitcher's ballpark.
