4Just a refresher or remembering how to do these since I haven't done one since July so like it or hate it doesn't matter either way
If Cleveland were in a rebuild/retool scenario then this deal would work other than Fraley, but they are not so it doesn't. I'm not gonna lie, DeLoach and Hancock would be nice to have, but they're just not ready to help a big league club and that's what Cleveland needs. Replace Fraley and DeLoach with Haniger and it would be a deal Cleveland makes, but maybe Seattle doesn't.
The framework is good, in that Cleveland is dealing from SP depth, and they might be interested in Deloach, since they need OF talent. Maybe tweak the rest of it.
As John said.. the structure of the deal looks solid.. two OF'ers and Plesac's replacement for a ML SP.. both sides of the deal should be satisfied.. however.. the two OF'ers..are both LHH's.. The Guardians are looking for OF help.. principally corner OF help.. and RHH's.. Got any RHH OF'ers that could be substituted?... Perhaps that Haniger guy?
