The Diamondbacks get the #43 prospect overall in MLB, #3 in NYY system(Peraza), Yankees #5(Schmidt), #13(Pereira), #15(Wesneski) and Clint Frazier. Wesneski and Schmidt could both compete for the starting rotation at some point in 2022, with Schmidt having the best chance if healthy. Peraza is a legit top tier SS prospect that could make his debut late in 2022. Pereira hit 20 HR's in 49 games climbing through three levels in the minors in 2021. He won't be MLB ready until at least 2023, but shows some huge promise this year. Frazier is almost a throw in here. He was once regarded as one of the top OF prospects in the game, but has had some concussion problems in the past and vertigo issues in 2021. It's unclear if he'll even be able to play in 2022 or ever again at this point, but the upside potential could be a very valuable add for a team like Arizona. If he's healthy and starts to perform again in 2022, they could turn around and flip him or keep him, as he still has a couple more years of team control. The Yankees get the CF they need and add positional flexibility.
