1For the Orioles, Contreras becomes the catcher until Rutschman is called up, which shouldn’t be too long. Waters could also be called up this year, and he is the highest rated of this group of prospects. Strider has been a pleasant suprise for the Braves this year, making his debut in low A before getting some major league appearances at the end of the year. He will most likely start the season in AAA, but it isn’t out of the picture for him to be playing in the majors by this year. My guess is that he will be called up in the beginning of 2023. For the Braves, they get John Means, an excellent pitcher who would fill a rotation spot for a long time, and Mancini, who could be a good platoon player in the OF. I could also very much see the Braves throw in Ozuna, who is almost certainly going to be traded, but I don’t know if the Orioles are willing to take him.
