3Down vote for Oakland. I don't think the A's are in a position where they can be doing 1-for-1 trades. They need to acquire quality and quantity.
Would you rather have a 1 on 1 with a high end prospect or take 4 lottery picks for each person. I get what you are saying, I think the A's need long term control and if they can get a high end prospect in return then they should go get it. Just my thoughts, I could and am probably am wrong though. Also, I believe that selling Chapman now is not the right time as his value is low because of a sub standard year.
Chapman is a big question mark... if he rebounds to his 2018/2019 level he'd be worth more in July than he does now. But there's always the risk that he doesn't rebound and his value would tank. And I think there's a middle ground between a 1-for-1 trade and 4 lotto tickets. Take Vargas and then find a combo of 3 guys who equal Busch's value.
