3I like this trade except Including Jimenez. His value on this site dramatically declined even when he a decent season. I was perplexed by this decline, but I am no an expert.

Because the Red Sox left him unprotected from the Rule 5 draft. That's a big blow.
I agree with you that leaving him unprotected was a big blow. I was just wondering why Jimenez's value declined so much, even though he a decent minor league year. The official Red Sox reason according to Bloom and Boston media for their decision was because he was too young to last in the MLB for a year. John, I recommended your site to other Red Sox fans. I get frustrated when my favorite Red Sox Podcasters make ridiculous claims a player's value. Can I list my favorite Red Sox Podcasters here who have no connection with me? They are basically knowledgeable amatuers who grew up in New Englanders who some interactions with the Red Sox players. I am non-New Englander who has been to Fenway only a few times.
