1Marlins dig into their enviable pitching depth to acquire 4 years of an electric outfielder with a ceiling that quite possibly hasn’t yet been reached. The A’s trade Laureano, presumably along with several other players in separate deals, to help replenish the farm. Diaz offers a strong glove with some thunder in his bat that they hope he’ll reach and Bleday is hopefully 1-2 years away from joining the big club. The prize comes in the form of the three pitchers - Meyer who very well may be ready to start the season in a rotation along with two projectable young pitchers in Perez and Fulton
