Modification to Jurdson's previous proposal.

Jurdson

Not bad overall value, but the Reds wouldn't want Groshans as the centerpiece since their infield is pretty full and he's got a little more seasoning in the minors before he's ready. I'm not sure that the Jays are really looking to upgrade the rotation at this point, are they? I don't follow them closely but it seems like they might rather upgrade at 3rd or RF.

Clutchfries

No I don't expect them to make a big splash for a starter. 3B is def. a priority over everything else. This sure would be fun for us Jays though.

Jurdson

Heck yes it would.

Challenger

I agree with ColoradoRed. Start with Gray instead of Mahle. Remember Reds need a backup catcher and RF or CF.

Jurdson

Yep, and I imagine they'd like a young starter back if possible. That's basically the basis of my previous proposal: https://www.baseballtradevalues.com/trades/trade-68571/ Not sure the Reds would take this or that there wouldn't be a better offer out there, of course, but checks a lot of boxes for them.

ColoradoRed

Not trading Mahle for a bag of balls. Forget it.
