1Down vote for Oakland. Taking back arb-eligible Smith and McNeil sabotages Oakland's efforts to cut salary and a 4:3 trade ratio undermines their ability to bulk up the roster. The Angels have had arguably the best player in baseball on their roster and they've yet to win a playoff game during his tenure because they've failed to build around him... and Baty ain't ever going to be Trout. The A's need to acquire quantity AND quality with their trade chips and consolidating them like this hurts their chances at returning to contention any time soon.
