Blue Jays get: - Moustakas shares 3B duties with Espinal. As well as being a viable left hand power bat off the bench. - Gray rounds out the rotation. Leaving Pearson the ability to work back up from AAA - 4m cash is paid in 2024 and covers Moustakas option buyout (unless it turns out the Jays pick up the option then the money is nulled) Jays add roughly 16m to their 2022 payroll leaving around 10-15m still available. Reds get: - MLB ready OF RH bat - High upside pitching prospect. (who has had health issues) - Approx. 6m savings in 2022 and 8m savings in 2023 on Moustakas contract alone.
