This trade takes away the Cano albatross in favor of a less costly deal centering around Brandon Nimmo, Sean Manaea, and Groshans to the As. The Mets receive a backup outfielder (they will have to make a free agent signing or two, but the outfield market is deep) in Grichuk, a lefty reliever, an intriguing catcher prospect in case McCann is injured. The Blue Jays get the top of the order OBP King in Nimmo, right in front of all the run producing options, as well as a AAA starter/reliever to provide depth. The As receive Groshans, a highly regarded 3B prospect, a SS prospect, and a low A pitcher for Manaea’s one year rental.

Down vote for Oakland. It's a SS prospect that hasn't played above Low-A and is already on the 40 man roster.
