Reds have no need for a shortstop, They do need CF, RP and Catcher (backup for Stephenson).

I’ve tried multiple deals like this to have the Mets acquire pitching, but the parts don’t match up.

A's already have a 5th starter.They want better. They also have mediocre OF prospects. They want better. A's have no need for a DH who although he walks well, he strikes out too much, and hasn't hit for power. Davis just had hand surgery and that's the last straw.

Challenger is right, the Reds don't need a shortstop with Farmer and Barrero at the major league level and an abundance in the minors. In fact they have so many SS's they are talking about moving two or three in the minors to other positions I believe they have the backup catcher filled in Andrew Knapp, but they could surely use another OF, beit it center or right
