I agree totally. The Orioles could be interested in someone like Callihan, provided they don't mind waiting a year while he rehabs from TJ. Other possibilities might include Bonnin or Roa. Two prospect pitchers I would not part with are Ashcraft or Abbott.
Yep, I'd happily part with Bonnin, Roa, and/or Callihan over Ashcraft in particular.
Yeah it's easy to dream on Hinds and I actually prefer him to Hendrick as well, but both have extreme bust potential b/c of their hit tools. I'd happily part with both of them to get 4 years of a solid center fielder. If either of Hendrick or Hinds turn into roughly 2-3 win player for 4 years, we'd be thrilled. Could sub Hinds out with another guy of roughly the same value, but I like Ashcraft too much to include him- I think his value will be way up a year from now.
