3Down vote for Oakland. Dominguez is more hype than substance thus far, you're paying a premium for the NY PR Machine. Gil has two pitches and questionable control... that's a recipe for a bullpen arm and not a rotation mainstay. Cortes was a pop-up arm in 2021 and there's risk you're buying high. Vargas hasn't played full season ball yet and will be Rule 5 eligible after the season.
I know you aren't high on a lot of the Yankees' guys, and I don't blame you. They are often over-hyped. Who would you take in a trade with them though?
I think you can find a workable deal for Olson or Manaea but not necessarily both. Peraza+Gil+Pereira+Wells+Cabrera = 64.3 TV. I'd throw in Vasquez (3.7) as a processing fee and to give a nice round number. This also assumes I'm willing to bite my tongue on Gil/Pereira/Cabrera. But do I think the Yankees would really trade 6 prospects? It seems doubtful... although maybe more likely than building a deal around Volpe.
