3Let me start by saying: This trade would never happen LOL. I'd only be comfortable with this if the Braves could add a guy like Story at SS. I think Shewmake is still a couple years away, and it's likely he becomes a trade piece. This is just an example to show Braves fans how important it is to sign Freeman. It is going to take a massive amount of prospect capital just to trade for Olson. I threw in Manaea just because the addition of one more high level starter makes a huge package easier to swallow. The farm system is already depleted, so I don't think trading for Olson is a great idea... JUST GIVE FREDDIE THE BAG!!!

I agree, this trade would never happen. Because it's an easy "No" for Oakland. Soroka is hurt and Swanson is a rental. Waters has stalled at AAA because he can't/won't adjust his Hit approach.
You're absolutely right. I don't think there's a package that will suffice that does not include Michael Harris. I think it's way too big of an ask. This is just to show Braves fans the price tag on Olson. He's an amazing talent, but Braves already have a bottom half of the league farm system. The best option is to just pay Freddie rather than digging an already depleted system into a bigger hole.
