Playing off of some of the rumored interest in Manaea and Montas From the A's perspective, there might be more opportunity to deal these two separately, but trading with KC and MIN allows the team to address organizational needs. Pasquantino becomes a potential Olson replacement - likely ready to step in at some point in 2022, while Miranda is a roving infielder, playing 2B or 3B depending on the growth of Nick Allen, Zach Gelof, and Kevin Smith. Sands is potentially ready for the bigs now, while Lacy and Duran are riskier profiles than the pitchers the team has taken on thus far, but certainly talented. Kansas City gives up a good piece in Lacy and deals from a position of strength with Pasquantino. Dealing Barlow hurts, though Stashak is an interesting return in the middle of the bullpen. Montas fronts the rotation which all of a sudden becomes interesting with him, Greinke, Singer, Lynch, and one of Kowar, Bubic, etc. Minnesota adds an impact rotation arm in Manaea and a controllable high-leverage reliever in Barlow. Miranda hurts to give up but there is still position player (and infield depth) in the system
