4Can Dom pitch? I like Dom, but the O's have a lot of 1B-DH-LF types. O's have a similar problem dealing Trey Mancini (not much trade value). Lyles fills a need for the O's now, would need a solid Minor League prospect to get Lyles at this point of the season.
I don’t think anyone wants to give up a solid minor league prospect for Jordan Lyles
Solid may be a poor choice of words, I'm talking a 10-25 prospect, not a 1-9. O's don't need Dom, but they need Lyles to eat innings - that's why they signed him and overpaid him. This is a fair trade, but it's not a fit for the O's. O's will have the same issues dealing Trey Mancini.
That makes sense. Something like Junior Santos or Christian Scott then I guess, assuming the Os would want the prospect to be a pitcher.
