I know the trade website doesn't say this has much value, but this trade could help the Yankees contend. The Mariners would get one of the Yankees top 100 prospects in this deal. Higashioka isn't good, from what his stats have said, but Seattle needs some catchers since they had to promote Knapp because of injuries. I probably should have done this trade better, but if you read the description on Dominguez on MLB.com, you'll understand why I've wanted this prospect. Dominguez according to this site, doesn't have much trade value compared to some of the Yankees other players. He would be very helpful for the Mariners, and it should help them in the future if they want to make the playoff by 2025(which is a very long ways from now)

Castillo has been much better lately in the bullpen, and Winker has been a little better for Seattle, but he still has a terrible batting average, Sheffield hasn't worked out for Seattle, but the Yankees could put him into the bullpen and try to fix what he was struggling with, after all he was their top prospect at one point so they have an idea with what he has. Hitters (especially sluggers) do better in Yankee stadium because the right side of the field is shorter, making is much easier for both sides to hit homeruns, maybe the issue is that Jesse Winker isn't a good fit for the Mariners because of the stadium or he just sucks.
