I think there is a pretty good chance Aranda gets moved this offseason. First, because he's arb eligible. Second, because of the huge need for 1B/DH around the league. Third, because the Rays need high upside pitching prospects and the cost for Aranda would probably include such a pitcher (or a high upside middle infield bat). Fourth, because the Rays could use a combination of Hicks, Diaz, Vilade and T.Morgan (yeah, I said T.Morgan) at 1B/DH until X.Isaac is ready to bump someone off the roster. That said, you have to assume both Bodine and Isaac are getting called up at some point in 2027, potentially as early as OD27, and that may really result in a crowded 1B/DH. I don't think there is any chance JC gets moved off 3B this early in his career, particularly if the Rays intend to trade him.
