Mr. Dodger

Swap Woodruff for Burnes and swap Cartaya and Amaya with Pages and Stone, and you got yourself a deal.

Brewers say no thanks. They would much rather have Adames (4.4 WAR) than Lux (2.4 WAR). Mr. Dodger is on the right track. However his swap would be a horrible overpay by Milwaukee (119.6 - 83.3) and the Brewers don't want Pages. They are loaded with high prospect OFs. Brewers keep Adames, swap Woodruff for Burnes and add Topa. Dodgers keep Lux/Cartaya/Amaya and add Stone/Vargas/Ferguson. Still a huge overpay by the Brewers (78.3 - 63.4) but worth it for Milwaukee.

Mr. Dodger

I agree with you jmont1.

Original trade would give Dodgers cheap placement for Turner and SP help. Brewers get additional years of control from Lux to play short or Amaya might be long term solution. Key to the deal is Cartaya — long term catcher solution.offense and defense Pepiot can fill in rotation gap with 6 years of control.

Mr. Dodger

Amaya and Cartaya aren't going anywhere.
