I'd love to see the Rays acquire De Paula, but they aren't trading Ras to get him. At least not yet. Not before the Deadline. Ras has been the best or 2nd best pitcher for the Rays this year (Shane Baz being the other), and the Rays are very much alive in the playoff race. They may be in 4th place in the ALE, but that's only 4 games back and the Rays are the only team besides the Yankees with a positive run differential. In fact, the Rays are one of only 5 AL teams with a positive run differential. We could see the Rays go on a run. So at the end of the day, the Rays may look to sell at the Deadline, but they aren't there yet.
