Cleveland cannot trade Kwan if they plan to make the playoffs... He's not gonna be available right now, period...

Cleveland is not making the playoffs and his value will never be higher. They should capitalize they always sell players like this.
Cleveland can easily get into the playoffs... They have the best bullpen in baseball... Their starters will get better as the season goes along... The question is their lineup... They can't trade their leadoff guy especially when they don't have anyone else to lead off... Now IF Kwan was available... They wouldn't think of trading him for Marsh, they would want someone with more team control while they make the LF opening for Brito or Kayfus... Which means that Cleveland is saying Aiden Miller not Marsh... Also JRam is under team control until 2029... They are likely to ride out Kwan since that is when their playoff window is likely to close...
Ps. They said the Guardians wouldn't get to the playoffs last season... National media is almost never right about Cleveland...
