3Down vote for the A's. I'd be hesitant to swap starting Catchers in-season; just getting everyone acclimated to each other could pose a challenge that costs games. And I certainly wouldn't do it for the Kayfus/Humphries combo. I don't believe Kayfus is viable as a full time OF and the A's don't have a need at 1B/DH any time soon. Humphries saw his stuff lag last season and he's going to need 2-3 years of development.
I'll be blunt... Kayfus is a hitter and even as a 1B he definitely will get into the top 100 prospects sometime this season... He's been exceeding expectations and even out hitting Bazzana... When it comes to the rest of the deal... Naylor is overrated and Humphries did slip as a prospect so everything else you said has merit.
I agree that Kayfus is a hitter but with the way Soderstrom and Kurtz are raking... none of them can play 3B, unfortunately!
