3I do like the fit for Gorman, but they aren't trading Framber. Plus, the Cardinals would want a young player or a prospect back. Not a pitcher with one year left.
You won't see anyone trade this much control for a 1/2 season rental
Idk Astros let Bregman walk and just traded away Tucker in his last contract year. And Cardinals did similar trade&extend deals with Matt Holiday and Goldschmidt
