This trade might work at the Deadline, but the Rays aren’t trading Lowe early in the season.
I like Matthews but his strikeouts worry me plus he looks like he may be better suited in the outfield, I don't see TB being interested in Whitaker, i think for TB to give up their LH power hitting 2B it would probably have to be something they can't say no to, if Taylor was ready for MLB would be one thing but right now there's a drastic drop off from B Lowe to the backups IMO
