3Birdsong is gonna be good, but the giants still have Harrison and Roupp.
Wouldn’t trade Birdsong for Guerrero straight up. Giants have Eldridge as the future 1B and Guerrero likely walks after 1 season. Would rather wait and offer him, or more likely Tucker the bag in free agency.
The one year left is gonna be a tough sell for any team. Feel like the Giants should put up a somewhat competitive offer in the offseason. I don't think Eldridge affects it that much because DH is pretty much unfilled. Either of those guys are big upgrades over an almost 34 year old Wilmer Flores. But the trade is more likely at the deadline. Jays could do Harrison instead of Birdsong
