2At first glance I’m like yes the Orioles should trade for SP Alcantara but the Marlins placed LHP Andrew Nardi on the 60-day injured list with lower back inflammation and he will be on the shelf until at least late May. I think the Orioles are too cautious of a team to be willing to accept him back in a deal that would include them dealing away Basallo. And I think the Marlins will be looking for players closer to big league ready than these two currently are if they were to deal SP Alcantara.
Miami will want a pitcher of that description included in return.
