Padres have zero incentive to trade King for prospects who are at best 4 years away. Maybe one good one who's ready to contribute now like Jett Williams

McLean is due up this season. Padres have a bottom 5 ranked farm system and will need to start replenishing it with young players. The ownership dilemma will force them into a retool/rebuild soon also.
