3Down vote for the A's. Crawford has a bad knee and is expected to not be ready by Opening Day. They don't need Abreu with Butler in RF.
Butler to LF. Abreu to RF. Kutter would be their #3 when he comes back. This would definitely make the A’s better
I like Abreu but why mess with success and make Butler shift positions? What the A's really need is to improve defensively in CF, moving Bleday to LF. I don't know if I agree with Kutter being a #3 caliber SP but my bigger concern, after looking a bit more into his injury, is that he was dealing with a bum knee last season and it's continuing to be a problem. When an offseason of rest/rehab fails surgery tends to follow and that can mean significant missed time. Too much risk, not enough reward.
