1I think this is a win-win trade for both sides red Soxs gets 3 top players that automatically put them as a title contenders and giving up top talent but expandable players (you need to give something to get something back) plus dropping off yoshida works good. Padres dropping salary and getting top ready to mlb prospects that keeps them as contenders is ideal
