From Cleveland's perspective, this will be a no... Like they would think about it, but Hamilton would be the deal breaker. They already committed to Rocchio at SS for 25 who is 4 years younger than Hamilton... Arraez would be at 2B... Brito would be his replacement come 26... Abreu would be in RF and CF would go to Thomas... which means Hamilton has no MLB roster spot, plus Cleveland would have to make an additional move to make this exact deal work. Rumor mill has it Cleveland has to get a top 100 SP prospect back in the Clase deal... Boston doesn't have that

My immediate reaction was "EW NO"- padres fan
