2A pretty fair offer (especially considering others you see on here), but I don't believe the Pirates are giving up completely on Suwinski - and acquiring Herstad pretty much would cement exactly that.

Suwinski still has options and has shown that he has so much to work still he can go to AAA and work things out. Reynolds isn't long for the OF. Leaving just Cruz longterm
