1Red Sox get the RH bat they were looking for (also a very good defensive OF) and the Padres free up a lot of $$$, which seems like a priority. Both pitchers are injured, but Musgrove should be good to go at the beginning of next season (when there is a good chance that neither Giolito or Buehler will be back). The Padres get young controllable players in return with one being a Gold Glove RF
