⚾️ The Blue Jays, unable to get an extension done with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. by his stated deadline of the beginning of spring training, change directions and make a trade with the Padres who give up one of their only two top prospects for a nice group of rentals to make a run at a title. If they’re not in contention at the deadline they’ll own the deadline instead. If they’re in it, Ownership will have to step up with a financial ok. 💰💰
