Comments
2PECOTA is very high on the Cubs and this gets the Cubs another hard throwing LH RP (controllable for 3 years). The Rays get 2 long term wild card players, a hard throwing pitcher who hopefully the Rays coaches can work their magic on his control and a potential power hitting MI.
Cruz is probably too much of an ask for Cleavinger. His value is currently low (though I can't understand how it's this low) because he's so far away from the Majors, but his tools are pretty good across the board. As a Rays fan, I'd love this trade though.
