Royals trade from their surplus of catching and a change of scenery is probably best for Mead at this point.

I like Ramirez to the Rays. Liked him even better at half the price he now has.

Agree. I'm not a Mead fan, but I don't think this gets it done.

I can see it. When the Rays are done with a player, they often appear to give him away (usually for a reliever). In any event, I proposed a bunch of trades for Ramirez last year when his trade value was a lot lower. Those were the days.
