If this trade were to happen I’d cut the bottom 3 prospects off the list in the Twins return. Makes sense for the Angels to move off Trout and his money if they can get the payroll flexibility back and get a good piece in Larnach back. Vázquez will be gone and Paddack can provide depth to their rotation or potentially be a really good bullpen guy. For the Twins they get their RH OF and lose Larnach as a price. There’s a lot of risk here and a fairly big chance this blows up in the Twins face but with new ownership coming in and a chance this works out I think I’d take the risk plus I can move Trout to RF or even 1B if I want to keep him healthier. Overall I’d probably say the Angels would win this trade. With Trout on their roster making 37m a year it’s a big blow to their flexibility. A fully healthy Trout changes everything
