Huh? This trade makes no sense whatsoever from the Twins standpoint, every player the Braves are getting outperformed each player the Twins are getting and are projected to do so again. The Twins would receive $30m in cash tho because that’s normal to just pay money for players from other teams like this is 1895.

I appreciate that. In all honesty, doc, I really wasn't finished tinkering with the darn thing. I meant to clear the trade and start over with the same idea but maybe changing a few things around the edges, but my fat fingers hit "post." 🤣 I'm not enamored with the thought of trading Duran, either. I don't think the Twins will trade him. But the hot stove needs stoking, right?
